Welcome to Eagle County Charter Academy's webiste! We are thrilled to share our school with you and to show you what makes ECCA so unique.
It is a great honor to serve as the new Principal of this remarkable school! I look forward to working with the ECCA staff, students and families and to a year of renewed momentum and increased opportunity. I was drawn to ECCA not only because of the strong sense of community but because of commitment to rigorous academics and character development. I believe that it is imperative that we continually reflect upon how we are preparing students for a meaningful and productive life in a globally connected 21st century.
To share a little about myself, I bring a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, eleven years of teaching and eight years of administrative experience to the position. My husband, Rick and I derive great pleasure and joy from being parents of two current students, a son in 5th grade and another in 8th grade. I am fortunate to be able to appreciate the wonder of this place from many angles.
My vision for ECCA is to continue to build and renew the strong sense of community that exists at the school while hosting a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. I believe children thrive in schools where parents, teachers, and administration come together to create an outstanding learning experience for children.
